Flamingo Room Halifax

Flamingos! Flamingos! Flamingos!

flamingo

I fell in love with flamingos last summer when I told my daughter she was going to have a new bedroom and she could paint it any color she wanted. After a quick search of (surprise) pink rooms, she decided she wanted a “flamingo” room. We searched online for all things flamingo, and there wasn’t much we could easily order. Since then, however, flamingos have been popping up all over the place. Target even has a new line of Flamingo inspired bedding. I’m predicting a return of the palm beach/golden girl decor trend in the coming months. Think flamingos, chinoiserie and bamboo loungers. I have two Pinterest boards on the go that have some great images;¬†Floridian, and Flamingo.

  • Paint Next’s designer transformed this bathroom with paint and new fixtures. The owner wanted a fun, pink bathroom and was thrilled with the results. If you’re considering a bathroom renovation and are not sure what your options are, give Paint Next a call. We’re happy to discuss your entire project from painting to putting in a new shower or tub. Halifax has many contractors to choose from, but know that we’re experts in the finish trades, and that’s what makes all the difference. Most general contractors sub out the finish and painting work to the cheapest painter they can find. We don’t and your bathroom will look amazing.

Winter Lake

A winter walk to the cottage inspired this colour palette. It was one of the coldest days of the year, but the light and colours were still so beautiful. Benjamin Moore colours: White Water, Distant Grey, Witching Hour, and Heaven.

Modern and Simple

We installed this tile in a Dartmouth rental property. The owners were looking for an inexpensive but¬†modern backdrop for a wall mounted fireplace. They went with this grey stacked tile that was a quick and easy install. It came on 12×12 sheets, and didn’t require grout, which was a budget option that still gave them the look they wanted.
